American Family Insurance is seeking a Business Intelligence Enablement Intern to test BI and AI capabilities, write SQL queries, and explore AI use cases. You will collaborate with data engineers and BI professionals to create resources that simplify adoption of new analytics tools.

The role offers hybrid work in Madison, WI, with a housing-related signing bonus possible for proximity to the office. Travel up to 10% is required.

Formación

• Must be enrolled full-time in a degree program (bachelor's to doctoral).
• Must have completed 24-semester hours before starting the first term.
• Experience with SQL and data analysis.
• Experience with Tableau, Google Data Studio, or similar BI dashboards.
• Experience using Claude, Gemini or other LLMs.
• Travel up to 10%.

Responsabilidades

• Test and evaluate new BI and AI capabilities.
• Write SQL queries to extract, validate, and analyze data.
• Explore how AI and LLMs can enhance analytics workflows.
• Partner with technical teams to understand data and reporting solutions.
• Create documentation, training materials, and job aids.
• Present findings, recommendations, and demonstrations to stakeholders.
• Help establish best practices for AI-enabled analytics tools.
