Community Care Alliance seeks a 1st shift Behavioral Health Worker/Driver to join our Acute Stabilization Unit in Providence, RI. This full-time, 36-hour/week role involves front-line client interaction, safety checks, and transporting clients between units while maintaining trauma-informed care.

Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, with strong communication skills and a willingness to learn; CNA or related degree preferred, with healthcare experience welcomed.

Qualifications

• Front-line, high client interaction from admissions to safety checks.
• Excellent communication and professional boundary maintenance.
• Healthcare experience preferred; CNA or related degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with nurses, counselors, case managers, and prescribers.
• Ensures client safety and satisfaction; flexible schedules discussed at interview.
• Promotes client recovery and understands trauma-informed care and emergencies.
• Transports clients to/from the Acute Stabilization Unit and maintains the vehicle.
