Job summary

BriteLife Recovery in Hanover, PA is seeking a Behavioral Health Technician Supervisor to oversee BHTs and maintain a safe, therapeutic environment for clients. Under the Executive Director, you will manage department expenses and model the organization’s values.

You will coordinate scheduling, training, and community meetings, ensuring high-quality care and regulatory compliance while promoting growth within the team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Supervisory experience.
• Demonstrated computer proficiency.
• Experience in substance use disorders treatment preferred.
• Ability to lead and promote corporate initiatives.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to monitor activities of individuals in need of substance abuse treatment.
• Ability to screen for danger to self or others.
• Participation in continuing Professional Development.
• Ability to manage and follow procedures in crisis situations.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to walk up and down stairs during emergency drills or situations.

Responsibilities

• Defines and assigns duties to BHT team members.
• Supervises and schedules the BHTs to meet clinical and operational needs.
• Promotes a healthy recovery environment by coordinating in-house speakers and off-site recovery meetings for the clients.
• Audits documentation entered into the EHR by the BHTs to ensure information is timely and accurate.
• Hires, supervises, and engages in corrective action planning when indicated.
• Manages payroll for team.
• Develops a yearly staffing plan that considers census and program needs.
• Trains all BHT staff on admission process and training plans.
• Develops a monthly recreational schedule and coordinates resources and transportation.
• Attends multi department meetings to provide milieu observations.
• Oversees Community Meetings led by technicians.
• Manages transportation schedule for admissions and discharges.
• Meets metrics and goals with the Executive Director.
• Works with Leadership to promote corporate initiatives.
• Ensures treatment fidelity with Clinical and Nursing departments.
• Promotes BriteLife Recovery to clients and employees.
• Leads by example.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
