Bulfinch Temps is currently hiring for Medical Assistants to work in long‑term temp assignments in ambulatory practices at MGH. These roles are Monday‑Friday day shift, 40 hours per week and require availability in the Boston area (North and West). Positions are not benefits eligible. Pay starts at $21.00 per hour and increases based on experience. This is a long‑term ongoing assignment; candidates must be available beyond summer.

Essential Functions

• Interview patients to obtain medical information and measure vital signs, weight, and height.
• Show patients to examination rooms and prepare them for the physician.
• Record patients' medical history, vital statistics, and test results in medical records.
• Perform general office duties, such as answering telephones, taking dictation, or completing insurance forms.
• Collect blood, tissue, or other laboratory specimens, log the specimens, and prepare them for testing.
• Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations, keeping the rooms neat, clean, and supplies stocked.
• Clean and sterilize instruments and dispose of contaminated supplies.

Education

High School Diploma or Equivalent required.

Experience

Direct Medical Assistant experience or medical field work 0–1 year preferred.
