Job summary

Aveva Drug Delivery Systems in Fort Lauderdale, FL is seeking a BFS Technician with deep expertise in Blow-Fill-Seal equipment to ensure safe, compliant production of high-quality pharmaceutical products.

You will manage equipment changeovers, BFS startup and major adjustments, perform troubleshooting, support maintenance, train operators on SOPs and OJT, and drive process improvements in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or equivalent with technical certifications or relevant vocational training.
Experience: Minimum 3 years as BFS Mechanic; understanding BFS technology.
Experience: Minimum 5 years in regulated Food/ OTC Pharmaceuticals manufacturing environment. Aseptic filling environment preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform equipment changeovers to facilitate BFS production.
Set up BFS parison, mould, and punch during startup; adjust for quality and efficiency.
Conduct fill assessments and vacuum leak tests to meet acceptance criteria.
Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and minimize downtime.
Support printers, labelers, and maintenance staffing as needed.
Assist in process optimization and SOP development/training.
Lead BFS operator training and participate in investigations.
