Job summary

Aveva Drug Delivery Systems in Fort Lauderdale, FL, is seeking a BFS Operator to safely run filling equipment under GMP, set up lines, perform in-process inspections, and document batch records. You will troubleshoot issues, train new staff, and support preventive maintenance while ensuring quality and safety.

You will collaborate with QA and engineering, follow SOPs, maintain housekeeping, and contribute to continuous production improvements in a fast-paced FDA-regulated environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree preferred.
• Fluent reading/writing/speaking of English.
• 3+ years’ experience in FDA-regulated manufacturing preferred.
• Experience with BFS filling operations is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate BFS filling equipment for setup, startup, production, and cleaning.
• Perform in-process inspections (fill weight, Vacuum leaks, visual/physical checks).
• Monitor critical process parameters and document batch records.
• Collaborate with QA and Engineering on quality and maintenance.
• Train new employees and support preventive maintenance.
• Maintain 5S and housekeeping standards in the area.
