Occasions Caterers in Washington, DC, seeks a Beverage Warehouse Inventory Manager to oversee beverage operations, warehouse inventory, event packing, ordering products, and schedule management. The role provides leadership to the in-house beverage team to ensure efficient and accurate event fulfillment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience behind the bar in a similar environment; management experience preferred
• Excellent beverage knowledge
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
• English fluency required; Spanish encouraged
• Bachelor’s degree or hospitality-related certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a beverage program that adds quality and enhances the guest experience
• Implement and enforce systems to increase efficiency, productivity, and profitability of the beverage program
• Provide training to the service team on beverage offerings and adjustments to meet guest needs
• Maintain accurate inventory and beverage lists; ensure events are packed and labeled; support pre-batched cocktails
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of the beverage area; ensure supplies are available
• Support service staff and participate in service cycles as needed
• Maintain positive relationships with leaders and staff and ensure timely communication
• Provide feedback and guidance to foster growth and development
• Seek opportunities to grow the team
• Ensure compliance with laws, policies, and health regulations related to operations
