Job Description

The Beverage Server position is responsible for providing superior service to both internal and external customers. The position also involves serving food and beverages in accordance with Belterra Casino Resort standards.

Responsibilities

• Provides superior customer service, positively affects interactions with customers and employees, and has the resilience to deal with difficult customers under all business conditions.
• Recognizes guests immediately with a friendly, courteous greeting and informs them of daily specials, soup of the day, etc. Acts as a “walking information center” by providing information on all aspects of Belterra Casino Resort & Spa services and facilities.
• Assists guests with beverage selection, demonstrating salesmanship with complete product knowledge.
• Ensures guest satisfaction through quality checks and responsiveness to guest complaints.
• Maintains a well-groomed, neat, and clean appearance, with attention to sanitation and safety.
• Anticipates, identifies, and provides for guest needs.
• Performs inventories and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with beverage and wine service.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Indiana ABC Permit (Liquor License) required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain all appropriate licenses/certifications per Federal, State, and Gaming regulations.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Typically acquired through two (2) years of service experience.
