Job summary

Margaritaville Resort Casino in Bossier City, LA is seeking a bartender to craft cocktails and deliver high-energy service in a busy environment. You will set up the bar, attend to guests at the tables and gaming floor, and stay updated on promotions and events to enhance guest体验.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepares and serves beverages following standard recipes and provides guests with exceptional customer service.
• Sets up designated area of the floor and maintains bar area.
• Circulates the floor giving attention to the bar and gaming areas.
• Keeps informed of promotional beverages, events and services.
• Restocks and maintains portable bars with drinks and condiments.
• Coordinates with bar staff to ensure beverage availability.
• Monitors guest consumption of alcohol and intervenes as needed.

General Accountabilities:

• Prepares and/or serves beverages following standard practices and recipes while providing guests with excep tional customer service.
• Sets up designated area of the floor with ashtrays and cup holders if section requires such and continuously combs the floor for empty cups and miscellaneous trash.
• Circulates the floor giving equal attention to Table Games and Slots or assigned section.
• Keeps informed of continually changing promotional beverages, events, and services.
• Reports to scheduled shift in proper uniform.
• Pays bartender the correct amount for drinks if such service is required in the assigned section or outlet.
• Restocks and maintains all portable bars with soda, juice, coffee, and condiments.
• Coordinates with bar staff to ensure the availability of beverages.
• Monitors guest consumption of alcohol, intervening as needed according to established practices.

Qualifications:

• Previous beverage experience preferred; Six months to one year of cocktail experience in a fast-paced environment preferred.
• Must have b asic math skills and cash handling experience.
• Ability to walk and stand for long periods throughout the duration of shift.
• Must obtain Bossier ABO and LACT.
• Mobility and dexterity to carry and serve a tray of beverages weighing 15 pounds.
• Ability to tolerate second-hand smoke, noise, and bright lights.
• Ability to work at a fast pace in often crowded/noisy environment.
