Job summary

CHEManager International seeks a Beverage Scientist to develop and optimize formulas for the National Beverage portfolio, from concept through commercial introduction.

You will conduct experiments, design scalable processes, perform sensory evaluations, and collaborate with Marketing, Regulatory, Quality, and Manufacturing to meet specs and timelines. Travel to various company locations as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in food science required.
  • Minimum of 5 years' R&D experience, including commercialization.
  • Experience with FDA regulations.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage projects with competing priorities.
  • IFT Certified Food Scientist preferred.
  • Genesis and TraceGains / FoodLogiQ experience desired.
  • Willing to work a flexible schedule to accommodate trial runs.
  • Highly independent with little direction.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and optimize formulas and processes for beverages.
  • Conduct experiments and produce samples with high accuracy.
  • Perform sensory evaluations and generate reports.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Regulatory for alignment on product development.
  • Conduct line trials and scale-up to ensure process accuracy and quality.
