Job summary

Columbia Distributing is seeking a Sales Associate to execute sales, merchandising, and distribution objectives across assigned accounts. You will assist in route relief for Sales Representatives and interact with internal teams, suppliers, and customers.

The role requires indoor work with frequent walking, occasional travel, and a focus on building industry knowledge of beer, non-alcoholic beverages, and food trends.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance are required; minimum age 21.
• Preferred: 1 year beverage industry sales experience.

Responsibilities

• Effectively sell, rotate and merchandise the Columbia Distributing portfolio in all assigned accounts.
• Provide route relief for Sales Representatives as scheduled.
• Interact respectfully with inter-company departments, suppliers, and customers.
• Establish and maintain knowledge of beer, non-alcoholic drinks, food journals and market trends.
• Maintain themed programs to meet supplier and company standards.
• Submit required reporting, preplans, trackers, surveys, and market surveys by due date.
