Danone North America is hiring for a Quality Lab Technician in Dallas, TX. The role focuses on analytical testing of ingredients, in-process and finished products, ensuring they meet quality specs. You will conduct microbiological testing, verify sensory attributes, and uphold cGMP and sanitation standards.

The position requires lifting up to 60 lbs, weekend/overtime flexibility, and collaboration across departments. Proficiency with lab equipment and software like SAP/IQS is expected.

Qualifikationen

• Must be able to work with chemicals.
• Must be able to evaluate physical properties of ingredients and products.
• Must be able to work weekends and have flexibility to work overtime as needed.
• Must be able to regularly lift and / or move up to 60 pounds.
• Ability to work in cold conditions for extended periods of time.
• Must interface regularly with multiple departments and leadership.
• Must be accurate and precise in testing procedures and calculations.

Aufgaben

• Check butterfat, total solids, pH, acid, flavor odor, cryoscopy, peroxide, shipping, COF checks and viscosities.
• Perform microbiological testing/documentation of finished and in-process products; generate standard reports.
• Test ingredients, in-process batched products, and finished products.
• Verify taste, odor, and appearance of finished products.
• Interpret test results to ensure products meet quality specs.
• Perform routine sanitation swabs of equipment and conduct product processing area inspections.
• Participate in Quality Team Audits and SOP compliance.
• Document non-conforming products and communicate to supervisors.
• Contribute to other duties as assigned.
