Job summary

You will conduct routine tests, record data, and communicate process modifications to maintain product integrity, with occasional deep cleaning of equipment and lines.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Experience with audit compliance and variance explanation.
• Experience with product changeovers, CIP, flavor changes, sanitizing, and setting formulas.
• Experience operating testing instruments (e.g., Carbo Qc, HPLC, Densitometers, Water Testing).
• Follows SOPs and calibrates instruments for accurate measurements.
• Experience with microbiology and food safety.
• Experience with reverse osmosis/water treatment systems and cooling/ammonia systems.
• Troubleshoots mechanical systems and performs basic maintenance.
• Experience with sensory testing (taste, odor, appearance vs. reference).
• Knowledge of basic chemistry (titration, pH, dosing, etc.).
• Experience with food safety programs and prerequisites.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor production line(s) to ensure efficiency.
• Move materials and finished products to maintain proper flow.
• Perform tests and use equipment to ensure package and product quality.
• Operate manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently.
• Clean equipment and work area; maintain good housekeeping.
• Maintain daily test records and report results.
• Follow process guidelines and communicate quality concerns.
• Collaborate with production and maintenance as needed.
• Maintain attendance and reliability.
