Discovery Land Company’s Homewood Mountain Resort is seeking a Beverage Manager to lead the F&B beverage program across the resort’s outlets. The role focuses on ordering, inventory, budget control, and strong vendor relationships to deliver a premier beverage experience.

The Beverage Manager will drive menu development, ensure compliance with alcohol laws, and train staff on standards and receiving procedures while partnering with outlet managers to boost beverage sales and program quality.

Formación

• 3+ years beverage management, purchasing, or bar management experience required.
• Resort, hotel, or multi-outlet hospitality experience preferred.
• Strong leadership skills with ability to train others and maintain accountability.
• Knowledge of HACCP and local food safety standards.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred.
• Current Food Handler and California RBS certifications (or ability to obtain before start date).

Responsabilidades

• Oversee beverage ordering for every outlet across the resort.
• Build and maintain relationships with beverage distributors and vendors; negotiate pricing and terms.
• Oversee beverage inventory levels and conduct regular counts and audits.
• Monitor beverage costs and purchasing budgets; identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Collaborate on beverage menus, seasonal offerings, and signature cocktails.
• Ensure compliance with state/local liquor laws and resort policy.
• Train outlet staff on beverage standards and receiving procedures.
• Perform quality checks across outlets to ensure adherence to recipes and standards.
• Plan promotions and events to drive beverage sales resort-wide.
• Track beverage sales, costs, and inventory trends and report to leadership.
• Coordinate beverage ordering for resort-wide events and functions.
