Job summary

BJ's Restaurants, Inc. in Huntington Beach, CA is seeking a Beverage Supervisor to lead beer and beverage distribution, program development, and events across our locations. You will coordinate inventory, pricing, and new item setups while collaborating with Culinary, operations, and distributors to drive guest experiences.

The role emphasizes hands-on organization, process improvement, and strong communication. A hospitality background and knowledge of beer are highly valued.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hospitality experience; restaurant and/or beverage experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• General knowledge of beer, wine and liquor.
• Strong organizational and project coordination skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and moving pieces in a fast-paced environment.
• A proactive, solutions-oriented approach and willingness to jump in wherever needed.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to work effectively across restaurant teams, internal departments, distributors, suppliers, and external partners.
• Comfort working in a role that combines administrative and project responsibilities with hands-on operational support.
• Curiosity about beer, beverage trends, restaurants, and the broader hospitality industry.
• Ability to research information, maintain accurate records, identify issues, and follow through to resolution.
• A collaborative mindset and enthusiasm for learning and growing across both Beer and Beverage programs.

Responsibilities

• Keep Our Restaurants Supported: Manage day-to-day Beer and Beverage distribution needs, including product availability and distributor follow-up.
• Keep Our Restaurants Supported: Maintain distribution, supplier, ordering, and cost information across the BJ's restaurant system.
• Keep Our Restaurants Supported: Coordinate recurring product cost updates with distributor and supplier partners.
• Keep Our Restaurants Supported: Support new item setup, pricing, and other required POS information.
• Keep Our Restaurants Supported: Manage inventory and shipment of BJ's tap handles and other beer-related restaurant supplies.
• Bring Our Beer Programs to Life: Research beer trends, breweries, local markets, and guest beer performance.
• Bring Our Beer Programs to Life: Coordinate Beer Dinners from planning through execution with partners.
• Bring Our Beer Programs to Life: Support BJ's participation in beer events and industry programs.
• Bring Our Beer Programs to Life: Manage the Beer Complaint Line and escalate trends to Brewery leadership.
• Keep Beverage Projects Moving: Coordinate projects with Beverage Manager and maintain trackers and timelines.
• Keep Beverage Projects Moving: Build a competitive beverage research library with menus and pricing.
• Keep Beverage Projects Moving: Coordinate samples for innovation and tastings.
• Keep Beverage Projects Moving: Audit menus and coordinate updates.
