Job summary

FAENA is seeking a Beverage Manager to lead and elevate the beverage and wine program across the property, guiding a team of sommeliers with deep wine expertise and a passion for luxury hospitality.

The role demands strong operational leadership, accountability for service standards, and a focus on guest experience, profitability, and lifecycle training of staff within a Forbes Five-Star environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–7 years of progressive luxury hospitality beverage experience.
• Significant experience as a Sommelier, Head Sommelier, Beverage Manager, or similar leadership.
• Extensive knowledge of Old World and New World wines, vintages, regions, and trends.
• Sommelier certification is strongly preferred (CMS or WSET).
• Experience leading and developing a sommelier or beverage team.
• Strong purchasing, inventory, cost controls, pricing, and profitability knowledge.
• Ability to increase wine/beverage sales through education and programming.
• Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and guest-relations skills.
• Ability to operate in a high-volume luxury environment.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, schedule, and develop the Sommelier team across the property.
• Oversee wine and beverage operations to align with luxury Five-Star standards.
• Drive wine sales through pairing, education, and staff training.
• Maintain wine program across restaurants, bars, events, and venues.
• Manage inventory, purchasing, and cost controls with Finance and F&B leadership.
