Job summary

Resorts World Hudson Valley is seeking a Beverage Manager to lead a high-volume, luxury beverage program. You will develop cocktail and wine lists, manage purchasing and inventory, and ensure cost controls while delivering guest experiences that exceed expectations.

Lead a cohesive team of bartenders and FOH staff; train on product knowledge, sales techniques and procedures. Collaborate with management on staffing, marketing plans and hospitality standards to maintain a warm, modern environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Five years of relevant experience in a high-volume, luxury resort/casino environment.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain the New York State Gaming Commission license.
• Must have a NYS Food Handlers Permit.
• Advanced knowledge of beverage concepts, costing and program implementation.

Responsibilities

• Oversees training of FOH sales team on beverage product knowledge and sales techniques.
• Develops beverage program and wine list; manages purchasing and inventory.
• Manages staffing levels and recruitment for bar operations.
• Collaborates with management on marketing and guest-satisfaction initiatives.
• Maintains beverage book, pour test log and monthly inventories.
