Job summary

Resorts World New York City is seeking a Beverage Operations Manager to lead daily beverage operations across casino bars, lounges, and entertainment venues. The role focuses on guest experiences, regulatory compliance, and achieving financial objectives in a fast-paced casino environment.

You will oversee staff development, beverage program management, and cost controls while collaborating with Culinary, Procurement, Finance, and Marketing teams to drive operational excellence.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Restaurant Management, or related field preferred.
• Minimum three (3) years of Food & Beverage or Beverage management experience in a casino, hotel, resort, stadium, entertainment venue, or high-volume hospitality environment.
• Experience managing bars, lounges, service bars, or multi-unit beverage operations preferred.
• Strong knowledge of beverage operations, alcohol service regulations, inventory controls, and beverage cost management.
• Experience with labor management, scheduling, inventory control, and financial accountability.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Experience working in a unionized environment preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, POS systems, inventory management systems, and labor management software.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain all required gaming licenses, alcohol service certifications, and regulatory permits as required by New York State.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily beverage operations across bars, lounges, and venues with a focus on guest satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with service standards, procedures, and brand expectations.
• Monitor performance and drive revenue, efficiency, and guest experience.
• Lead staffing, scheduling, and operational readiness for beverage venues.
• Support beverage program development, menus, promotions, and seasonal initiatives.
• Promote guest-first culture and responsive service recovery.
• Manage beverage costs through inventory, portion controls, and waste reduction.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for beverage operations.
• Collaborate with Culinary, Stewarding, Procurement, Finance, and other departments.
