Job summary

Soho House is seeking a Bar Manager to oversee the beverage program and bar team, ensuring top-quality drinks, guest experience, and budget achievement. You will hire, train, and develop bar staff, manage inventory, vendor contracts, and schedule staff while driving profits and member satisfaction.

The role requires leadership in beverage operations, strong communication and problem solving, and a passion for beverage excellence within a premium club setting.

Qualifications

• Must have 5+ years supervising and managing a high-volume F&B operation.
• Proven track record leading a professional, efficient operation.
• Must be highly organized, efficient and detail oriented with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in MICROS (or similar POS), Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Experience managing beverage program operations: recipes, menus, COS, scheduling, inventory, guest satisfaction.
• Experience managing P&L, supervisory, coaching and staff development.
• A four-year degree in Hospitality and/or Restaurant Management is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead ongoing improvement of the beverage program and staff development.
• Manage beverage cost KPIs and ensure profitability per targets.
• Maintain quality control and consistency in menu creation and processes.
• Be a visible presence in front of house to guests and staff.
• Assist bar/floor staff as needed including scheduling and POS duties.
• Train staff on new and existing options with guests.
• Ensure safe, productive, positive work environment and compliant procedures.
• Organize regular team meetings and trainings to develop product knowledge.
• Partner with US Support team to leverage vendor relationships and margins.
• Manage inventory, scheduling, and purchasing.
