Job summary

Aerotek is hiring a Production Associate for a high-volume beverage manufacturing and packaging operation on a contract-to-hire basis in Skokie, IL. You will perform general labor tasks across automated lines, loading/unloading trays, labeling, packing, and quality checks in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing or quality experience preferred, particularly in production or general labor roles.
• Experience with production environments, including tasks such as loading, unloading, packing, or basic machine operation.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and standardized procedures accurately.
• Strong attention to detail during visual quality checks and packing finished goods.
• Capability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift in a fast-paced setting.
• Comfort working with simple production equipment, such as push-button labeling machines.
• Commitment to GMP and safety standards at all times.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality to support production schedules.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trays from automated production lines to keep product flow steady and efficient.
• Operate basic labeling equipment using simple button-push controls according to established procedures.
• Pack finished goods accurately and neatly into appropriate packaging for distribution.
• Perform visual quality checks on products, labels, and packaging to identify defects.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas per GMP.
• Follow GMP, safety, and sanitation standards to ensure a safe production environment.
• Support general production tasks as needed, including acting as a backup general laborer on different lines.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate workflow.
• Meet productivity and quality expectations in a fast-paced setting.
• Adhere to shift schedules and attendance requirements for continuous operations.
