Job summary

The Beverage Assistant Manager at Coeur d'Alene Casino Resort & Hotel oversees daily beverage operations across Night Hawk, Wolf Den, Twisted Earth, Events bars and the gaming floor, working with the Beverage Manager to uphold all alcohol policies and standards.

You will supervise staff, manage schedules, ensure compliance with liquor laws, create innovative cocktail menus, drive guest satisfaction, and partner with other leaders to plan events that boost beverage revenues and maintain a safe,

Qualifications

Must be 19 years old or older.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Two years of previous bartending experience required.
Two years management experience required.
Tips Card or Alcohol ServSafe Certificate preferred.
ServSafe Food certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Supervise venues by organizing and directing worker training programs, resolving personnel problems, creating schedules, disciplining employees as needed, and evaluating employee performance.
Check for proper identification on all guests under 30 attempting to purchase alcohol, in line with liquor laws.
Oversee Food and Beverage staff when Area Food and Beverage Managers and other Venue Food and Beverage Managers are off duty.
Ensure alcohol is secured during non-operational hours in accordance with liquor laws.
Maintain itemized par levels, count inventory monthly, and assist other leads and managers when needed.
Order product from vendors when needed.
Monitor customers and discontinue alcohol service when intoxicated.
Handle customer complaints appropriately and report incidents to management.
Report incidents to Area Food & Beverage Managers in proper documental form.
Schedule and adjust staffing as needed during shift according to business needs.
Collaborate with servers and bartenders to ensure timely service.
Create and maintain new cocktails menus with input from managers and lead bartenders.
Educate staff to promote products to increase ticket averages.
Work with managers to create and execute events to boost traffic and revenue.
