Job summary

Generous Brands, parent company of Bolthouse Farms, is seeking an Operations Leader to oversee the Batching & Fermenting team in Torrance, CA. You will own production outcomes, lead a hands-on group, and drive safety, quality, service, and cost improvements through disciplined root cause analysis.

The role requires strong Lean Six Sigma, people leadership, and SOP/training development, while coordinating with planning and procurement to meet demand and budgets.

Qualifications

• 5 years of beverage manufacturing operations leadership.
• 5+ years as a Food Production Supervisor with a hands-on management style.
• Experience managing people and budgets.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Food Science, or related field or equivalent industry experience.
• Lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma, and root cause analysis.
• Knowledge of safety regulations within beverage manufacturing.
• Experience developing and implementing SOPs and training programs.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving with data-driven decision making.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Preferred bilingual English/Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a production team focusing on safety and continuous improvement.
• Coach and train team on continuous improvement methodologies.
• Oversee performance management and provide feedback to meet production goals.
• Champion ownership and problem solving to implement improvements.
• Lead Lean Six Sigma programs to reduce waste and costs.
• Develop and execute plans for the operations department aligned with business goals.
• Conduct financial analysis and reporting to identify trends.
• Maintain safety training and audits to ensure a hazard-free environment.
• Collaborate with planning to meet demand and budgets.
• Develop SOPs and ensure product quality.
• Manage production schedules with procurement to ensure raw materials flow.
