Job summary

Capital Distributing is seeking a full-time Merchandiser in Texas with an early start at 5:00 am and weekend availability. You will travel to grocery stores and beverage outlets to stock, rotate, and display products along assigned routes using pallet jacks and company systems.

The role offers $19.00 per hour plus overtime and mileage reimbursement, with responsibilities including backroom transfers, photos of displays, inventory maintenance, and ensuring product freshness.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or meet minimum state age requirements.
• Requires reliable, personal automobile transportation. DMV and insurance requirements apply.
• Must be able to lift, push & pull 25–50 lbs regularly and up to 170 lbs for keg handling or pallet jacks.
• 0–6 months of general work experience.

Responsibilities

• Travel to grocery stores and beverage outlets to stock, maintain, display, and rotate products on assigned routes.
• Transport product between backroom and display floor using pallet jack or hand truck.
• Use company systems for routing compliance, efficiency, and account monitoring.
• Complete merchandising checkouts, upload display and backstock photos to document execution.
• Maintain and organize backstock areas to support inventory levels and product freshness.
• Other projects or duties as assigned.

Position Responsibilities:

• Travel to grocery stores and other beverage outlets to ensure proper levels of our product is stocked, maintained, displayed, and rotated correctly in accounts along assigned routes
• Transport product between backroom and display floor with manual equipment, such as pallet jack or hand truck
• Use company-issued technology and systems for routing compliance, efficiency and account monitoring
• Accurately utilize company systems to complete merchandising checkouts, upload display and backstock photos to document execution in accounts
• Maintain and organize backstock areas by consolidating products to support proper inventory levels and product freshness
• Other projects or duties as assigned

Required Education and Experience:

• A candidate must be 18 years of age or meet the minimum state legal age requirements.
• Requires reliable, personal automobile transportation. Employees must maintain an acceptable driving record and valid driver's license. Auto insurance coverage must meet minimum amounts specified by the company and state law.
• Must be able to lift, push & pull products from 25 pounds to 50 pounds on a regular basis and up to 170 pounds when handling keg products or operating pallet jacks and loading tools
• 0 to 6 months plus of general work experience
