Ten Five Hospitality in Georgetown is launching a new restaurant and lounge concept and seeks a Beverage Manager to lead the bar and lounge operations. You will supervise the bar team, ensure beverage quality and presentation, and uphold high hospitality standards to deliver an elevated guest experience.

You will recruit, train, and develop staff, manage inventory and budgets, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations while collaborating with leadership for events and peak periods.

Qualifications

  • 2 years in a management role in fine dining hospitality/nightlife/bars.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Passion for hospitality, guest experience, and team culture.

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily bar and lounge operations to ensure exceptional service.

We are seeking dynamic, experienced professionals to join our team as we create an elevated dining experience. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in fine dining service & a passion for delivering exceptional hospitality.Position SummaryThe Beverage Manager plays a key leadership role in supporting the General Manager and Assistant General Manager in the daily operations of the front of house, with primary oversight of the bar and lounge experience. This position is responsible for leading bar operations, cultivating a culture of exceptional hospitality, and ensuring the highest standards of service, beverage quality, and presentation. The Beverage Manager oversees the recruitment, training, development, scheduling, and performance of the bar team while maintaining an elevated guest experience that reflects the restaurant's commitment to excellence.Daily ResponsibilitiesLead all daily bar and lounge operations, ensuring exceptional service, efficiency, and an elevated guest experience.Recruit, train, coach, schedule, and develop the bar team while fostering a culture of professionalism, accountability, and teamwork.Oversee beverage inventory, ordering, cost controls, budgeting, and revenue performance to meet financial objectives.Ensure all beverages are prepared and presented according to established recipes and quality standards.Maintain compliance with all health, sanitation, safety, and alcohol service regulations, as well as Company policies.Partner with the General Manager on labor planning and scheduling to optimize service levels and operational efficiency.Collaborate with culinary and front-of-house leadership to ensure seamless service during daily operations, private events, and peak business periods.Resolve guest concerns with professionalism and urgency, consistently delivering a luxury hospitality experience.Maintain impeccable cleanliness, organization, and operational readiness throughout the bar, lounge, and front-of-house areas.Oversee opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and financial controls in accordance with company standards.Demonstrate expert knowledge of all food and beverage offerings and communicate effectively with both front- and back-of-house teams to ensure cohesive guest experience.Effectively communicates with the team and to restaurant leadership and ownership.All other duties assigned.Physical RequirementsMust be able to stand, walk, lift, and bend for extended periods of time.Must be able to bend and lift up to 50 lbs.Role may include job duties or tasks requiring repetitive motions.Exposure to hot kitchen elements or cleaning materials.Skills/ExperienceTwo (2) years’ experience working in a management role in fine dining hospitality/nightlife/ bars.Passionate about hospitality, food and beverage and morale/culture.Self-motivated with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, effectively multi-task, and drive results.Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays when required.
