Description

We are hiring a Beverage Manager at Hotel West & Main, Tapestry by Hilton.

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Beverage Manager to lead our beverage program and assist in overall restaurant operations in Hook & Ladder Skybar and 1874 Social. The ideal candidate will also collaborate with the restaurant management team to oversee daily operations, train and supervise staff, and uphold high standards of customer service.

Responsibilities will include:

Completely direct the operational efforts and strategies of the bar.

Supervise and provide guidance, aid and counsel for all bar associates.

Trains all associates in the bar how to perform their job duties to the best of their abilities.

Demonstrates knowledge and innovation with current beverage trends.

Assist in the following: Writing schedules, evaluating associates, and direction of all personnel.

Keeps open verbal and written communication between the management and associates.

Writes and presents disciplinary action as needed.

Provides associates with the tools and equipment they need to do their jobs.

Takes immediate action on problems that are encountered in the bar or restaurant.

Participates in staff meetings.

Assists in the establishment of goals, standards, and objectives, which will further the prestige and reputation of the organization as well as result in a more profitable operation.

Knowledgeable and practices food and liquor federal, state, and local laws and regulations.

Manages approved budget and operates both established guidelines in regard to costs, expenses, sales, and profit for beverage department. Develops, institutes, and maintains control and procedure to ensure sameness.

Maintains all use records, daily rotation menus, daily checklists, recipe cards, etc., at all times.

Assures us that sufficient supplies of necessary service equipment are available and maintained at all times.

Ensures that standards pertaining to storage, rotation, production, portions, quality and appearance are followed at all times.

Ensures that prescribed cleaning schedules are followed and maintained at all times.

Promotes a positive employee relation’s climate by following and adhering to Human Resource policies and procedures; timely reviews, recruitment as needed, disciplinary action and terminations.

Conducts his/herself to reflect the high standards of professionalism within the Concord Hospitality organization.

Provides for a safe work environment by following all safety and security procedures and rules.

Annual Salary - $46,000-$57,000
