Job summary

E. & J. Gallo Winery in Fresno, CA is seeking a laboratory technician to support the product development team through routine lab analysis and testing. You'll assist sales and product teams by evaluating new products and experimental blends, reporting findings, and maintaining documentation in the LIMS system.

The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, working at heights, and adherence to GMP policies. On-site work with potential travel up to 5% for onboarding and meetings is expected.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree with 20+ units in chemistry/biology/food science or related courses.
• Must lift up to 50 pounds and work at extreme heights as needed.
• Must be at least 18 years old and able to travel up to 5% for onboarding, training, meetings, and events.
• Must comply with GMP policies and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine chemical, physical, and instrumental testing in the lab.
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment; manage samples with timely reporting in LIMS.
• Prepare laboratory solutions and ensure safe handling of chemical waste.
• Support product development by evaluating new products and prototypes.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment and ensure compliance with quality and environmental standards.
