Job summary

Sunny Sky Products, LLC in Frostproof, FL is hiring a Beverage Industry Filler Operator I for the 1st shift. You will operate a beverage filling line, program the machine, and lead the line crew while ensuring proper labeling, QA checks, and GMP compliance.

The role requires mobility, good visual acuity, and ability to communicate in English. Typical hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM with overtime and weekend availability, plus benefits such as life insurance, PTO, 401K, and bonus

Qualifications

• Experience operating the beverage filling machine and setting fill weights.
• Ability to read labels, follow GMP procedures, and maintain records.
• At least 1 year forklift experience.

Responsibilities

• Take samples to QA to verify product is in spec.
• Check filter before start-up and with each product.
• Operate filling machine, connect filler pump, purge line, and set fill weight.
• Maintain records for Brix, juice weight, tare weight and total weight.
• Fill out fill weight sheets and verify label and case for each product.
• Maintain cleanliness of filling machine and line areas.
• Follow GMP procedures and policies.
• Change filler parts when changing sizes.
• Perform minor maintenance and adjust machine with hand tools.
• Set up the labeler and change labels during run.
• Set up heat induction sealer.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Sunny Sky Products prides itself on our commitment and dedication to creating, manufacturing and delivering top quality products in the beverage industry. We have generated an extensive product portfolio that includes frozen dispensed beverages, cold dispensed, hot dispensed and beverage enhancers.

We are seeking a Filler Operator who must have good mobility and visual acuity. This person is responsible for operating a production line that fills containers with beverage products. This individual will be responsible for connecting appropriate lines, programming the machine, and leading the crew assigned to the line. This person must accurately complete the proper labeling, paperwork and Quality Assurance checks.

Responsibilities

• Take the samples to QA to verify the product is in spec.
• Check filter before start-up and each product
• Operate a filling machine including connecting filler pump, purging line and setting filler with desired fill weight.
• Maintain records for brix, juice weight, tare weight and total weight.
• Fill out fill weight sheets
• Verify correct label and case for each product
• Maintain cleanliness of filling machine and filling line areas.
• Follow all GMP procedures and policies
• Change out the filler parts when going to a different size.
• Minor maintenance & adjustments to the machine when required with hand tools.
• Set up the labeler and change labels throughout run.
• Setting up the heat induction sealer
• Other duties as assigned by Management
• Follow all GMP procedures and policies.

Requirements

• Must be able to operate a computer panel for machine operation
• Must be able to communicate written and orally in English
• Must be able to walk the machine continuously.
• Must have good organizational skills, time management skills and has ability to pay attention to detail
• Must have 1 year forklift experience

Hours

• Monday - Friday 8am - 4:30pm
• 8-hour shift plus occasional overtime
• Weekend availability required as production needs may demand
• $17.00 per hour
