Goodwin Recruiting is assisting a respected hospitality group in finding a Beverage General Manager to lead daily beverage operations and develop a high‑performing team. You will oversee inventory, quality control, costs, and guest experience while ensuring compliance with liquor, gaming and safety regulations.

The role emphasizes strong budgeting, staff training, and strategic thinking in a fast-paced environment that operates 24/7.

Qualifications

• Five to seven years of restaurant management and supervision experience in a fine dining setting.
• High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• ServSafe and RAMP certifications required.
• Full working knowledge of POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily beverage operations, including training managers and hourly staff.
• Maintain beverage inventories and enforce quality control standards.
• Ensure compliance with all liquor, gaming, and safety regulations.
• Control labor and beverage costs to achieve budgeted revenues and maximize profitability.
• Maintain company operating standards and professional conduct reflecting brand values.

Beverage General Manager Requirements & Qualifications

• Five to seven years of restaurant management and supervision experience in a fine dining setting preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred
• ServSafe and RAMP certifications required
• Full working knowledge of POS systems
• Knowledge of approved Responsible Gaming Program
• Ability to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license as required
• Strong mathematical skills including budgeting and profit/loss analysis

Beverage General Manager Preferred Background & Skills

• Ability to analyze and interpret beverage operation results
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to perform duties under pressure
• Knowledge of sanitation laws, health regulations, and OSHA standards
• Capability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment with accuracy and timeliness
