Job summary

PepsiCo is seeking a field service technician in Midland, TX to install, troubleshoot, and maintain beverage equipment at customer locations. You will drive between sites, diagnose issues, and perform proactive maintenance to ensure products flow smoothly.

You will educate customers on basic repair procedures and keep accurate service records. The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs and passing a CDL/clearance process; the work is fast-paced and customer-facing.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older and able to obtain CDL license.
• EPA Section 608 certification is required.
• Refrigeration Certification Type I/II preferred where applicable.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in tight spaces.
• Effective communication in English is required.

Responsibilities

• Install, set up, and perform preventative maintenance on vending, cooling, and fountain equipment.
• Diagnose equipment issues and determine repairs or replacements.
• Educate customers on basic equipment repair and upkeep procedures.
• Prioritize service and maintenance calls to meet customer service windows.
• Drive to customer locations and perform on-site service and repairs.
• Remove and replace parts; manage parts inventory on service truck.
• Build strong customer relationships through clear communication and follow-through.
• Unload and reload equipment and transport components as needed.
