Silesia Flavors, Inc. is seeking an Applications Technologist I - Beverage & Dairy to join our on-site team in Illinois.

This full-time role develops, tests, and optimizes beverage and dairy applications using our flavor portfolio, following project briefs and customer specs. You will perform lab-scale formulation trials, evaluate sensory and physical properties, document results, and collaborate with R&D, sales and production to support customer presentations and troubleshooting while

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemistry, or related discipline.
• Lab skills in food applications, including weighing, mixing, sampling, testing, and record-keeping.
• Experience or interest in R&D and new product development.
• Ability to support troubleshooting and provide technical information.
• Familiarity with GMP, HACCP and food safety practices.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and project management.
• Knowledge of sensory evaluation methods.

Responsibilities

• Develop, prepare, and test beverage and dairy applications.
• Perform lab-scale formulation trials and evaluate sensory properties.
• Document results and support optimization of flavor systems.
• Collaborate with R&D, sales, and production to support presentations and samples.
• Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure compliance with food safety standards.
• Participate in continuous improvement of application processes.
