Description

Greet and serve alcoholic and non-alcohol drinks to guests to enhance their enjoyment of the Casino.

Essential Job Functions:

1. Greet and serve guests in a friendly, courteous manner;
2. Receive and understand beverage orders & relay drink orders to bartenders;
3. Know what brands of liquor, beer, and wine we offer as “comped” beverages;
4. Carry and balance a full tray of beverages;
5. Keep glasses picked up, area clear of paper, and other debris as time permits;
6. Circulate throughout assigned workstation on a continuous basis;
7. Never serve two drinks at the same time to one person - never a beer and a shot;
8. Be aware of intoxicated guests; stay up-to-date on care training;
9. Other reasonable duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

High School/GED preferred; 6 months related experience minimum.

PREFERRED:

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary certifications and/or licenses as required by local gaming regulations.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

1. Must be able to carry and balance trays and lift up to 30 lbs.
2. Able to walk the duration of assigned shift and wear approved designated shoes.
3. Ability to handle high volume and stressful situations.
4. Exposure to smoke, bright lights, and noise at times - casino environment.
