Job summary

Deutsch Family Wine & Spirits is seeking a Category Development Manager in Stamford, CT. You will develop selling stories, analyze data, and collaborate with sales to grow DFWS share and category performance.

You will synthesize insights from Circana/Nielsen and other sources into actionable recommendations, support annual account plans, and drive distribution and activation at retail partners.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of category management experience in CPG or syndicated data.
• Experience working with multiple retail environments is preferred.
• Experience calling on Total Wine & More is desirable.
• Expert Excel and PowerPoint skills for large data sets.

Responsibilities

• Develop fact-based selling stories to drive DFWS share growth.
• Synthesize insights into concise selling stories with quantified impact.
• Monitor depletions and retailer scan performance to inform plans and actions.
• Create national and chain-specific selling sheets and tools for distributors and field teams.
• Build annual account plans with programming and distribution goals.
