Job summary

Cape Royal Golf Club, located in Cape Coral, FL, is seeking a Part-Time Beverage Cart Attendant/Server to deliver friendly, efficient service on the course. You will stock, operate the POS, and assist guests with beverage and light food items while maintaining high standards of safety and etiquette.

Responsibilities include maintaining the beverage cart, handling cash and cards, and communicating guest needs to the Restaurant Manager.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong customer service skills and a friendly demeanor.
• Experience handling cash and operating a POS system is preferred.
• Knowledge of state liquor laws and Safe food handling is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve beverages and food items to guests on the golf course.
• Stock and clean beverage cart throughout the day.
• Operate the Point of Sale system and manage daily sales reports.
• Maintain knowledge of golf course etiquette and club policies.
• Ensure safety and cleanliness while delivering service on the course.

We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. General Purpose:
Provides a convenient method for members and guests to obtain food and beverage items while out on the course. Creates memorable experiences through prompt, efficient, Friendly and professional interactions.

• Confirms beverage cart is fully operational before starting rounds on the course.
• Stocks and cleans beverage cart throughout the day.
• Maintains and exhibits knowledge of proper golf course etiquette.
• Maintains up-to-date knowledge of applicable state liquor laws and standard operating procedures provided by the management.
• Ensures guests are attended to in a prompt, efficient and personalized manner.
• Serves food and beverage items to guests while on the course.
• Responds to customer questions regarding the general information of facility.
• Reviews schedules for changes, calendar of events and club activities on a daily basis.
• Accountable for all checks and cash transactions that may, at times, may be high volume.
• Utilizes Point of Sales system and creates daily sales reports.
• Communicates guest concerns or comments immediately to the Restaurant Manager and/or Chef.
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Performs other duties as required.

Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Physical Demands:
Frequently stands and walks; uses hands; reaches with arms and hands; stoops, kneels, crawls or crouches; talks or hears. Occasionally sits; climbs or balances. Frequently lifts up to 25 pounds and occasionally lifts up to 50 pounds. Frequently works in outdoor weather conditions, in extreme heat and in areas near moving mechanical parts. Occasionally works in high precarious places, near fumes or airborne particles, near toxic or caustic chemicals and in extreme cold (non-weather). Occasionally risks electrical shock. Noise level is moderate.
Certificates/Licenses:
Valid Driver’s License Required; ServSafe Certified (Food Manager & Alcohol) or TIPS equivalent, if required by state.
Job Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Preferences:

• Ability to read and speak English may be required in order to perform the duties of the job (e.g. the associates may be required to communicate with English speaking customers or co-workers, the manuals for the equipment the associates may use are in English).
• Meets state age requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.
• Working knowledge of POS system.
• Attention to cleanliness and safety.
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to company values.
• Ability to follow par sheets, and service standers set forth by management team.
• Patience and customer-oriented approach.
• Excellent people skills with a friendly attitude.
• Responsible and trustworthy.
• Self-motivated and works well with little direction/supervision.
