Job description

East Hartford Golf Club is excited to announce the exceptional career opportunity of Beverage Cart Attendant. Qualified candidates will thrive in a hospitality environment and be highly focused on providing superior service.

Key Responsibilities of the Beverage Cart:

1. Confirms beverage cart is fully operational before starting rounds on the course.
2. Stocks and cleans beverage cart throughout the day.
3. Maintains and exhibits knowledge of proper golf course etiquette.
4. Maintains up-to-date knowledge of applicable state liquor laws and standard operating procedures provided by the management.
5. Ensures guests are attended to in a prompt, efficient, and personalized manner.
6. Serves food and beverage items to guests while on the course.
7. Responds to customer questions regarding general information of the facility.
8. Reviews schedules for changes, calendar of events, and club activities on a daily basis.
9. Accountable for all checks and cash transactions, which may sometimes be high volume.
10. Utilizes Point of Sale (POS) system and creates daily sales reports.
11. Communicates guest concerns or comments immediately to the Director of Food and Beverage and Chef.
12. Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
13. Performs other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications for the Beverage Cart:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must meet state age requirements to serve alcohol.

Other Qualifications:

• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Experience preferred but not required.
