Job summary

Niagara Bottling in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a batching operator to meet production demand while upholding safety, quality, and food safety standards. The role requires precise ingredient handling, documentation, and adherence to GMP practices.

The operator will pre-weigh, blend, and liquefy components, inspect batches, and perform CIP cleaning. Flexibility for 12-hour shifts and weekend coverage is expected in a fast-paced beverage manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; other education may be considered.
• 2 years experience in field or manufacturing environment
• 2 years experience in position
• Ability to speak effectively with management and employees at all levels
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work up to 12 hour shifts, day or night, overtime
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time
• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Inspect, stage, weigh and mix ingredients according to recipes
• Pre-weigh, blends and liquefy components for beverage preparation
• Document lot numbers, quantities, and expiration dates on formulas
• Clean and sanitize batching equipment and fillers
• Operate forklift to load/move ingredients
• Adhere to safety programs, GMP and Food Safety Standards
• Maintain housekeeping and quality in batching and production areas
• Assist in other areas as directed by plant supervision
• Maintain regular and predictable attendance
