The Role

As more Americans turn to cannabis for well-being, we are looking to grow our team to help us bring additional safe, trusted products to even more consumers and channels across the country. The Beverage Account Executive, WI (Madison Territory), will be a key player in expanding our THC-infused beverage business and increasing consumer access to our products.

We seek a Beverage Account Executive for Wisconsin to drive market share growth by gaining new distribution across off-premise (retail stores, liquor stores, supermarkets) and on-premise (bars, restaurants, venues) channels. This role blends sales strategy and merchandising, focusing on increasing brand visibility, securing prime placements, and expanding our market footprint. The Account Executive will serve as a sales expert to channel partners, providing insights, guidance, and support to maximize sales potential. The ideal candidate is a proactive, tenacious problem-solver with a strong desire to succeed.

This position requires up to 100% travel within Wisconsin.

Responsibilities
Sales & Market Share Growth:
  • Collaborate with off-premise and on-premise accounts to enhance product visibility and volume
  • Secure new placements, optimize shelf space, and expand distribution points
  • Build trusted relationships with key decision-makers to foster long-term partnerships
  • Work with our Distributor Partner on ride-alongs and sales meetings to align strategies
  • Identify and develop new accounts while maximizing opportunities in existing ones
  • Monitor competitors and identify market growth opportunities
Merchandising and Consumer Engagement:
  • Ensure proper stock levels and inventory rotation at off-premise locations
  • Maintain attractive product displays and negotiate prime shelf space
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with distributors to prevent stockouts
  • Conduct store visits to ensure brand standards and execution
Sampling & Consumer Engagement:
  • Organize and execute sampling programs to introduce new customers to the brand
  • Educate staff and consumers on product benefits to boost brand loyalty
  • Assess sampling effectiveness and provide feedback to marketing teams
Qualifications
  • At least 2 years of sales, merchandising, or related experience, preferably in beverage or CPG
  • Strong relationship-building skills with retail and hospitality partners
  • Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and independent worker
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
  • Passion for innovation and educating consumers about new categories
  • Resilient, resourceful, and adaptable in a competitive industry
Additional Requirements
  • Pass background checks and comply with industry regulations
  • Valid driver's license and at least 21 years of age

The pay range is competitive, based on experience, qualifications, and location. Positions may be eligible for performance-based incentives.

Green Thumb Pay Range: $65,000—$85,000 USD
