Job summary

Staffmark Group in Bessemer, AL is hiring a Press Break Operator to operate CNC press brake machinery, bend and form metal sheets, and produce precise parts per specifications. This role supports safe, efficient manufacturing operations and requires reading blueprints and using measuring tools.

The ideal candidate has experience with metal fabrication equipment, is detail-oriented, and committed to workplace safety. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 7am–3:30pm with competitive weekly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Technical training in metal fabrication, machining, or blueprint reading is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Operate a CNC press brake machine.
• Run bend and forming operations using standard and custom dies.
• Use CNC Controller to input information into machine.
• Produce quality parts for assembly operations.
• Identify assembly parts.
• Ensure machine is calibrated and cleaned.
• Read drawings and blueprints to take on daily tasks.
• Accurately meet daily production goals.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
