Job summary

FlexGen is seeking a Project Manager to lead utility-scale Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects from contract execution through commercial operation. You will integrate Engineering, Systems Engineering, Applications Engineering, Software Integration, Supply Chain, Construction, Commissioning, Commercial, and Customer teams to deliver safely, on schedule, and within budget.

The role requires 5+ years of PM experience on complex projects, strong governance and risk management skills, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, PM, business or related field.
• At least 5 years of project management experience on complex engineering/EPC/industrial projects.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams in a matrix organization.
• Understanding of project governance, controls, contracts, risk management; PMP preferred.
• Travel willingness of 10–20%.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end execution of utility-scale BESS projects from contract through operation.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, supply chain, construction, commissioning, and commercial.
• Develop integrated project plans: scope, schedule, budget, resources, risks, and change control.
• Drive PMO governance with standardized methodologies and executive reporting.
• Lead reviews with customers and executives, manage risks, and resolve issues.
• Ensure alignment of commercial, engineering deliverables, and customer expectations.
• Capture lessons learned and promote best practices across PMO.
