Job summary

NovaSource Power Services is looking for an individual to be responsible for the maintenance and operation of utility scale BESS power plants in Pecos, Texas. The role involves monitoring operations through SCADA, troubleshooting, repairing, and performing maintenance on BESS systems.

Candidate must have at least 1 year of related experience and a High School Diploma (or equivalent). Certifications in electrical standards are preferred. The position offers competitive pay, health coverage, and a 401(k) plan with matching contributions.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in a related position.
• Electrical certifications or equivalent training in military or the power industry is a plus.
• Ability to work in varying physical conditions and requirements.

Responsibilities

• Monitor BESS Plant operation through SCADA.
• Perform maintenance procedures on site components.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

Skills

Understanding of electrical safety and arc flash standards

Knowledge of industrial or power facility operation and maintenance

Proven computer skills in a Windows environment

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent required

College or technical degree preferred
