Job summary

Primoris Renewable Energy is seeking a BESS Estimator I to support senior estimators on new utility-scale energy storage projects. You will be the single point of accountability for conceptual and final hard-bid estimates, under guidance, including scope, schedule, cost, safety and quality documentation.

You will travel to sites, review project documents, develop supporting analysis, and present estimates to the leadership team, building relationships with site personnel and internal

Qualifications

• BS degree preferred in business or engineering.
• 0–2 years estimating industrial electrical construction projects.
• Experience in Solar, Renewable Energy, or Energy Storage preferred.
• Proficient with MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Take meeting minutes and track action items.
• Perform basic low impact side projects (cost analysis, time studies).
• Maintain document control for estimates.
• Review estimating department reports and develop estimating acumen.
• Participate in capturing team and client meetings.
• Estimate small portions of the overall project under supervision.
• Travel to projects to observe operations and build site relationships.
• Collaborate on reviewing project and client documents.
• Provide support for tasks as assigned.
