Job summary

Primoris Renewable Energy seeks a BESS Estimator I to assist with conceptual and final hard-bid estimates for utility-scale energy storage projects. You will work under guidance from the BESS Lead Estimator and Estimating Manager, compiling scope, schedule, cost, safety and quality data to defend estimates.

You will participate in client meetings, support time studies, and help maintain document control while building estimating maturity and strong leadership communication.

Qualifications

• Prefer BS degree in a business or engineering disciplined program.
• Minimum 0-2 years’ experience estimating industrial electrical construction projects.
• Demonstrated skills in written communications; ability to compose basic as well as complex technical documents, formal letters, invoices.
• Demonstrated skills in oral communications; ability to make presentations to large, diverse groups.

Responsibilities

• Take meeting minutes and track action items with team.
• Perform basic low-impact side projects like cost analysis and time studies.
• Maintain document control with BESS Lead Estimator.
• Review estimating reports to build estimating acumen.
• Capture team and client meeting notes and follow up.
