Description

The Porter performs various duties as assigned to ensure the lot and bodyshop are organized and maintained efficiently.

Essential Duties

1. Assist with service write-up and tagging customer vehicles.
2. Clean and organize around the service department, showroom, and bodyshop.
3. Provide customer rides to their home or employer.
4. Pick up mail, do other pickups & deliveries, and go on dealer trades, including handling all related paperwork. Responsible for inspecting vehicles for condition and missing equipment.
5. Drive vehicles across surrounding states as needed, including manual transmissions.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
• Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance is preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must pass drug screening and background check.
• Manual dexterity, good judgment, and ability to handle machinery safely.
• Ability to drive across surrounding states to pick up vehicles.
