Job summary

Polar Semiconductor, Inc. in Bloomington, MN, is seeking a Process Technician to sustain current processes and improve die yields. You will monitor process trends, adjust parameters, and optimize equipment availability by responding to qualification and FabGuard events.

This role requires collaboration with process, equipment, maintenance, and production teams, plus documentation and SPC charts. Evening shift schedule: Thu-Fri-Sat and alternating Wed 6pm-6am; salary range $23-$36/hour with shift

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in a technical field preferred; if not, directly applicable experience.
• Experience as a specialist is preferred.
• Knowledge of semiconductor processing techniques; wafer tool sets; SPC; technical writing; Excel and Outlook; problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Respond to lot holds and disposition as required.
• Assist process engineering leads with capacity, tool qualification, and process improvement.
• Maintain documentation and SPC charts.
• Collaborate with Process Engineering, Equipment Engineering, Maintenance, and Production.
