Job summary

Bentley Sarasota, part of the Dimmitt Automotive Group, is recruiting a Service Technician to support our new After Sales Center in Sarasota, FL. The role focuses on customer satisfaction, quality maintenance, and service profit, with a sign-on bonus up to $7,500 based on skill and certifications.

Qualifications include a high school diploma, post-secondary automotive training or equivalent, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Post-secondary automotive training or equivalent experience.
• Ase certification preferred but not required.
• Experience with Bentley, Volvo, VW, Audi, or Porsche is preferred.
• Unrestricted driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmissions.
• Strong communication and customer service skills; professional demeanor.
• Excellent work history and dependability.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose issues based on experience, analysis, and testing.
• Perform routine service inspections and standard maintenance.
• Repair vehicles as assigned by management.
• Ensure documentation is complete and compliant with regulations.
• Help maintain shop appearance, safety, and inventory duties.
• Follow all shop policies, safety, and environmental rules.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Description

Sign-on bonus of up to $7,500 based upon skill level and certifications!

The Service Technician services and repairs vehicles as assigned by management following all established standards and procedures. The role is focused on customer satisfaction, loyalty, and profitability of the department. In addition, he or she may be assigned to conduct pre-delivery service on new vehicles to ensure excellent working order for the customer.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses issues based on experience, analysis, and testing
• Performs routine service inspections or tests and completes standard maintenance jobs
• Repairs vehicles as assigned
• Ensures that required documentation is complete and is in compliance with regulations and standards
• Helps maintain shop appearance and safety standards and ensures the shop runs in an efficient manner by performing duties such as inventory stocking and other general functions
• Follows all shop policy, procedure, safety, and environmental rules
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Post-secondary automotive training, certification, or equivalent work experience
• Prior experience preferred; Bentley, Volvo, Volkswagen, Audi, or Porsche
• ASE Certification preferred
• Broad scope of automotive mechanical/electrical knowledge
• Unrestricted driver's license and clean driving record
• Able to drive both automatic and standard-transmission vehicles
• Good communication, customer service, and problem solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress
• Highly professional and dependable
• Excellent work history
