Job summary

Frank, Rimerman + Co. LLP, a San Francisco Bay Area CPA and consulting firm, is seeking a Benefits Manager to administer medical, dental, vision, life, disability and wellness programs. You will partner with the HR Director to manage benefits and wellness for the firm.

The role covers enrollment accuracy in HRIS, regulatory compliance, leave administration coordination, and communication to staff. A bachelor’s degree and 3–5 years of benefits experience, with UKG knowledge, are required; open

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in benefits administration.
• Experience with UKG required.
• Experience with Cocoon or another external leave administrator preferred.
• Strong knowledge of ERISA, COBRA, and ACA.
• Experience with open enrollment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency in HRIS and benefits management software.
• Ability to be flexible and adapt quickly.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for employees on benefits inquiries and enrollment.
• Provide customer service to employees, carriers, and third-party admins.
• Interpret FMLA/ADA implications and coordinate LOAs with leave admins.
• Administer workers' compensation and ergonomic requests.
• Ensure accurate benefits enrollments in the HRIS and proper billing.
• Process life events and reconcile billing and reporting.
• Develop and distribute communications about the benefits package.
• Collaborate with payroll to validate benefits data.
• Audit benefits plans for accuracy and effectiveness.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
