Qualifications

• Previous experience in healthcare, medical office, or insurance verification preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy with data entry.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Comfortable working with multiple software systems and databases.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with team members.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient insurance benefits and eligibility.
• Enter and manage patient information within company systems.
• Prepare required patient documentation prior to evaluations.
• Support front office teams with insurance and authorization questions.
• Track and monitor patient authorizations as required by insurance plans.
• Communicate insurance benefit information to patients and team when needed.
• Share updates with the team on insurance changes, policies, and processes.
• Support ongoing improvements to systems and workflows.
• Assist with insurance re-verification when needed.
• Perform audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with verification and authorization processes.
