Job summary

HUB International in Culver City, CA, is seeking a Benefits Technology Specialist I to join the Benefits Technology Team. You will handle configuration of benefit administration platforms for new clients and renewals, collaborate on build requests, and manage timelines and deliverables in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires 1+ years in benefits/account management and customer service, a preferred bachelor’s or diploma, and a willingness to obtain a life/health license.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of Benefits/Account Management experience.
• 1+ years of related customer service experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; Diploma required.
• Life & Health insurance license preferred or open to obtaining license.
• Experience with benefits technology platforms and enrollment processes (EDI/API a plus).
• Strong written and verbal communication; capable with both technical and non-technical colleagues.
• Solid analytical skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Configure benefit administration platforms for new clients and renewals.
• Collaborate on build request workbooks for new builds and renewals.
• Project manage builds with timelines and deliverables.
• Test system functionality to ensure accurate configuration.
• Provide technical consultation to Producers and Service Team.
• Demonstrate platforms to clients and internal teams.
• Audit platform builds and resolve errors.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and map builds with carriers/vendors.
• Run reports and manage intake for service inquiries.
