Group 1 Automotive is seeking a Benefits Specialist to join our Corporate People Operations team. This role administers employee benefits, supports enrollment cycles, and resolves benefit-related issues to ensure accuracy and a positive employee experience.

The ideal candidate has 2-4 years of benefits experience, strong analytical and communication skills, attention to detail, and a readiness to expand technical capabilities in a large, multi-location organization.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of hands-on employee benefits administration experience.
• Experience with health and welfare benefits administration, including enrollment and eligibility.
• Experience performing benefits testing and validating enrollment or system changes.
• Experience researching and resolving benefit errors and audit reports.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary resource for employees regarding benefit eligibility, enrollment, coverage, qualifying life events, and general benefit questions.
• Provide clear, accurate, and timely guidance to employees while delivering a high level of customer service.
• Manage the benefits inbox, researching employee inquiries, identifying issues, coordinating resolutions, and ensuring follow-up.
• Resolve new-hire enrollment issues and benefit discrepancies, partnering with employees, vendors, and internal teams as needed.
• Advise employees on qualifying life events and ensure changes and documentation are completed within timelines.
• Administer QMCSOs from receipt to completion, ensuring accurate processing.
