Juno Search Partners, LLC is assisting a Miramar, FL client in finding a Benefits Specialist for an immediate 3-month contract, onsite 4x per week. The role sits in the HR Department and offers potential conversion to full-time based on performance.

The successful candidate will oversee disability plans, FMLA processes, and multi-account benefit administration, while coordinating with finance and external vendors to ensure compliance and optimal cost management.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of prior related experience.
• 7–10 years of prior management and administrative experience including compliance.
• Experience with internal finance, auditors and plan compliance.
• Ability to communicate tactfully, verbally and in writing with leaders and vendors.
• Strong computer skills and proficiency with Excel and Word.
• Bachelor's degree in management, accounting or related field preferred.

Responsabilités

• Manages, administers and maintains compliance for companywide disability plans.
• Manages the FMLA leave process and third-party vendor for FMLA compliance.
• Administers health savings, health spending and dependent care accounts.
• Backs up 401(k) and pension benefit claims and payroll feeds to 401k vendor.
• Collaborates with finance on benefit accruals and reconciliations; plans liabilities.
• Recommends additions/modifications to benefit plans per trends and budgets.
• Implements benefit cost controls and cost-sharing guidelines.
• Completes state and federal compliance reports under ERISA or other regulations.
• Issues summary plan descriptions and required documentation to employees.
• Performs weekly file feeds to carriers and backs up others to ensure timely processing.
• Reviews medical claims and resolves issues with employees/insurers.
