Wake Radiology UNC REX Healthcare is seeking a seasoned Benefit Specialist to manage benefits, leave administration, workers' compensation, and employee relations in our Raleigh, NC office. You will partner with management to maintain compliant, positive workplace operations.

The role requires 7+ years HR experience, healthcare exposure preferred, and relevant certifications. We offer competitive compensation, PTO, 401k, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR or related field, or an equivalent combination.
• 7+ years of progressive HR experience.
• Healthcare HR experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of employment law.
• PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SPHR preferred.
• Sound business acumen with ability to think strategically and act tactically.

Responsibilities

• Administer benefits programs (medical, dental, vision, life, STD, LTD, 401k, etc.) and ensure compliance.
• Manage leave administration (FMLA, STD, LTD, ADA, Workers' Comp).
• Advise management and employees on HR issues and concerns.
• Maintain HRIS data and ensure compliance with employment laws.
• Assist with the development and management of internal HR systems and policies.
• Foster strong relationships across departments to support employee relations and provide counseling as needed.
• Provide guidance on HR best practices and regulations.

Wake Radiology, a leading provider of outpatient medical imaging in the Triangle is seeking a seasoned Benefit Specialist. This crucial role will manage various functions to ensure smooth daily operations. This position will be responsible for benefits, leave administration, workers compensation, employee relations, and compliance. You'll be a key resource for employees and management, ensuring a positive and compliant work environment.

On-site Role

Responsibilities:

• Administer benefits programs (medical, dental, vision, life, STD, LTD, 401k, etc.) and ensure compliance.
